 This year the Youth Group will have a local Mission Week, July 19 to July 25.

 

The Youth Group spent Monday through Thursday doing community projects, such as house repair, painting, and yard work, for those in need. Friday and Saturday was spent framing a house in our church parking lot. We didn't do this work alone. Several other Youth Groups  joined us for the week. kferkett@baldwincommunityumc.com. Youth Stuff

                                                                MISSION TRIP PLANNED

Mission Trip.” It usually makes people think about traveling somewhere, doing hard work for a few days, and coming home. This year will be a little different. Our Youth Group will still work hard, but closer to home. For our summer Mission Project, from July 19 to July 25, we will do some local repair work, help out with Pittsburgh Project, and finish the week by framing a house in our church parking lot. The “House Build” will be completed in one weekend with help from CrossRoads Missions. The house will be used by Habitat for Humanity.

Middle School Youth Group will attend the Baldwin musical CATS on March 24. We’ll meet at Baldwin High School by 6:45 p.m. Bring money for admission and snacks.

On Palm Sunday the High School Youth Group will meet.

Wednesday March 31 there will be a Healing Service in the sanctuary. No Middle School Youth Group this night, but come experience the service.

  

April 4: HAPPY EASTER! No High School Youth Group.

April 16 – 18: Spring Retreat at Camp Allegheny for both Middle and High School Youth Groups. If you have not registered yet, please contact me ASAP. Cost is only $45. (No Youth Group Sunday night.)

May 1: Car Wash Fundraiser,       10 a.m. – 2 p.m, in the church’s front circle.

Sign up for “Acquire the Fire” ASAP (May 7 – 8). We have a very limited number of tickets. Cost is $35.

Vacation Bible School
