Coordinator of AlternativeWorship and Discipleship
The Coordinator of Alternative Worship and Discipleship is involved with the following areas of Baldwin Community UMC. The Asbury Alternative Worship Service, Sunday School, Wednesday Night Live Kid’s Programs, Vacation Bible School, and the Nursery. Jim Lombardi came to Baldwin Community from within the congregation. He, along with Lynn Covey, is one of the founding members of the Asbury Alternative worship service. Jim most recently taught music at Walnut Grove Christian School and Hillcrest Christian Academy. He has experience as a music teacher and has worked with children from preschool to high school for the past twenty years. Jim is married to Janellen and has two children, Jacob and Julia. Janellen is an English teacher at North Allegheny Senior High School and is also very involved in the children and youth programs at Baldwin Community. Jim has a BS in Music Education from Slippery Rock University and a BA in History from the University of Pittsburgh.
