A moderator led panel of experts; women and men who have been trained or who have intense life experiences and have worked through difficult challenges with support from faith in Jesus, will help us regular folk learn how to listen and to talk with someone (it could be one of us too) facing tough situations such as loss of a loved one, divorce, illness, aging, trauma; alcohol, drugs, other dependencies, and social re-entry. Practical; not theoretical general discussion. Learn what to say eye to eye, and what not to say. Learn how important it is to avoid stigma. Learn also how to listen and to talk with someone about our faith as a Christian and to help guide them to seek and gain comfort and support in a deep and meaningful relationship with the Lord.
Jointly Hosted: the Women’s Circles, Outreach and Men’s Ministry.
